Our Code of Conduct
SinoScan’s objective is to be a long term business partner with customers and suppliers. We are serious in what we do, and we strive to provide high value for money to our customers. We are dedicated and committed to our area of business, and ensure that we have the necessary organization and skills to perform our business effectively. We are creative and innovative to continuously develop our business model to fit changes in business environment, challenges and new opportunities.
Bridging the East and the West
SinoScan bridges two very different business environments in China and Western countries. Since SinoScan strive for long-term and sustainable business, it is a particular challenge and responsibility of SinoScan to handle this in a professional way. As part of our commitment to have a financially successful and enduring business, we also take the broader economical, environmental and social impact of our operations into account to provide greater strength to our business and operate with good conscience.
Building our Business Reputation
SinoScan wants to have a superior reputation with our customers, suppliers and employees. Our objective is to be first in mind by our customers, have high priority at our suppliers and long lasting relationships with employees. This is only possible when we work professionally and maintain a high standard of business ethics with a conscientious approach to social and environmental issues.
Since SinoScan primarily uses sub-suppliers for manufacturing, and since SinoScan is strongly represented in China, it is our special responsibility to ensure that manufacturing environments at the suppliers’ factories live up to our customer’s reasonable expectations. SinoScan guidelines are formed from customer requirements and international conventions for working environment and external environmental protection. The guidelines are prepared to be as concise and usable as practicably possible, so it is easy for SinoScan employees to check that they are correctly followed.
Respect for our People
SinoScan’s management system is based on humanistic principles. We believe in people and believe everybody has a desire to perform to their best ability. We respect each person’s rights and reject any form of discrimination. We encourage our employees to speak openly and freely on all issues as long as it is not insulting to others. We welcome any proposals that can make SinoScan a better company to work for, and we are always prepared to discuss improvements with individuals, or with groups of employees. We also encourage our suppliers to show the same kind of openness to their employees.
